ILEANNA SAWYER
Ileanna Sawyer is an award-winning creative marketer of 10+ years and has been part of the stellar Content & Editorial team at FX Networks for the last 5 and a half years. Her work has earned Clio Gold and Bronze, as well as Promax North America Gold. She has launched content across genres and platforms, including theatrical films such as Silence, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, The Upside, The Foreigner, Ferdinand, and The Boss Baby. Her work at FX Networks spans multiple seasons of Mayans, What We Do in the Shadows, The Old Man, as well as Snowfall, The Patient, and Shôgun. A storyteller and writer at heart, she holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in poetry from Pacific University.
As a leader, Ileanna values a collaborative and coaching style, allowing space for teams to reach their full creative potential. She recently completed Promax Thrive, a year-long immersive leadership development program, designed to master the skills of a strategic, innovative, and conscious creative leader.
A proud Mexican American, Ileanna is enthusiastic about opening the door to those who don’t have connections in the industry, as she initially did not either! Now that she does, she dedicates time to mentoring through Revision Movement, Soapbox Women, and Good City Mentors. Equally passionate about elevating women in the industry, she is currently an Advisor and previously served as Co-President of Soapbox Women, an independent collective dedicated to empowering and promoting women in the entertainment marketing industry.
She raises two fearless daughters alongside her husband and likes to carve out time to be in nature, meditate, and slow down to savor a delicious meal with friends.
